Hello, I am Ann Williams, facilitator of Vascular Events medical presentations.

I am a medical educator. I communicate information regarding physiological processes in group settings. My professional objectives are to enable individuals to cultivate health and prevent disease.

I originate health presentations regarding:
        Vascular Physiology and Cardiovascular Risk
        Menopausal Physiology
        Menstrual Physiology
        Osteoporosis Prevention and Management

I have formidable knowledge of:

1) cardiovascular risk management regarding how blood sugar, lipoproteins, inflammatory mediators and oxidative stress effect vascular function. The Nurturing the Heart syllabus expands on these mechanisms.

2) women's health regarding the hypothalamic pituitary ovarian axis, menstrual physiology, menopausal physiology, hormonal regulation, fertility awareness and contraceptive technology.

3) bone physiology in relation to osteoporosis and the therapeutic options to prevention and manage osteoporosis. The Transition: Postmenopausal Health, The Change: Perimenopausal Health and A Period of Wellness: Menstrual Health syllabus' expands on these physiological mechanisms.
